Innovation Retrokits has created a do-it-yourself system to transform late model trucks into custom street machines with that sought-after vintage look. Most anyone with basic shop skills can install the kits. Kits are available to transform 1988-1999 full-size Chevy or GMC trucks into 1960-1966 Chevy trucks at a fraction of the cost of traditional “old truck” restoration. The kits contain fiberglass parts which simply bolt onto the frame replacing the existing body panels for easy installation (and removal if necessary) without welding or fabricating -- making the modification permanent or temporary.

Dan Fairbanks, the creator of Retrokits, has 25 years of industry experience and knows first-hand what it takes to restore an old truck. After restoring dozens of them and spending countless hours of knuckle-busting work, he recognized that there had to be a way to have it all -- a roadworthy vehicle with today’s technologically superior features along with the visual appeal of a classic.

Retrokits is a new twist on an old idea. Now the average guy can change his work truck into the street machine he has always dreamed of and still use it to take his tools to the jobsite on Monday morning.
