Transtar’s Structural & Metal Bonding Adhesive is a two part non-sag structural adhesive formulated to dry in 15 minutes for small patch repairs, door skins and compact vehicle replacement panels. This product forms a tough, high strength, high impact resistant bond. It is formulated to bond thermoplastics, thermosets, composites and metal structural elements together in any combination. Structural & Metal Bonding Adhesive is formulated as a non-sag, creamy gel with balanced viscosity for both parts and is easy to dispense through the included static mixer. Transtar’s Structural & Metal Bonding Adhesive is a two part non-sag structural that adhesive features an extended open time for bonding large components or prolonged assembly operations. This product is ideal for bonding a wide variety of materials, including metal, fiberglass, composites, vinyl esters, gelcoats, and thermoplastics. It has a 60 minute working time.

Quick Dry Rubberized Undercoat is a rapid-drying highly protective automotive coating for autobody interiors and underhood applications. Resists rust and abrasion as it seals out dust and moisture. Deadens sound. Excellent adhesion to painted and unpainted surfaces. This product is 50 state compliant and meets all regulations for sale in the USA and Canada.

A one part moisture curing urethane adhesive designed to provide a strong bond to all windshields and back light replacements. This product provides strong adhesion to glass and pinchweld surfaces designed for use in a close cut-out method or tape installation. Passes FMVSS 208, 212, and 216 strength requirements.

Transtar’s Premium Automotive Attachment Tapes 4595 and 4598 are .045” thick double-sided, gray acrylic foam tapes. Typical applications include side moldings, trim emblems and other exterior parts. Unique primer can be applied directly to flexible or rigid metal or plastic parts. Prevents rust while sealing out moisture. Primer has excellent adhesion and flexibility properties, and provides a smooth base for topcoat applications. 15 oz. Made in USA.

Ultimate Finish System Tri-Cut is designed to offer 1 product for three uses. 1) remove grade 1200 grit and finer sand scratches with a wool compounding pad #5200 and an air or electric buffer (1500-2000 RPM.), 2) for 1500 and finer imperfections use a Yellow Acrylic Polish Pad #5230 or Yellow Foam Cross Cut Pad #5270 at (1200-1750 RPM), and 3) finish to desired gloss with a Blue Foam Cross Cut Pad #5280 or Black Foam Cross Cut Pad #5290 at (1000-1120 RPM’s). Safe for use on all paints. Aqua SCAT is a non-hazardous, solvent free cleaner and degreaser for cleaning surfaces prior to applying primer, sealer, basecoat, clearcoat or other coatings. It is intended for use as a final wash for metal, plastics, and coatings. It cleans sanding dust and grime from these substrates. Aqua SCAT works well removing road grime, salt dust, insects, bird droppings, silicone oils, waxes and masking tape residue. When used as directed Aqua SCAT leaves no harmful residue and assists in proper coating adhesion.

2K Acrylic Urethane Primer is a premium lead/chrome free two component acrylic urethane primer surfacer. 6561/6564 provides exceptional fill and build and provides a base which yields excellent top coat hold out, gloss and D.O.I. (Distinctness of Image). 2K Acrylic Urethane Primer sands easily wet or dry and can be directly topcoated with alkyd enamels, acrylic enamels, lacquers, acrylic urethane enamels and basecoat clearcoat systems.

 

 

 

 

Euro Classic Primer is a two component primer surfacer that can be applied direct to metal surfaces. It is quick drying and easy to sand wet or dry. It provides corrosion protection along with excellent fill and build properties. This unique primer provides improvements in productivity and reduces cycle times while providing significant labor and material savings. This primer can also be tinted using Transtar’s exclusive “Star Shade” system for a better match.

Euro Kwik Clearcoat is an acrylic urethane clearcoat with a sprayable V.O.C. of 3.5 lb/gal (using EPA Test Method 24). This product meets National Rule V.O.C. regulations of 5.0 #/gal V.O.C. and Bay Area Rule 45 V.O.C. regulation of 4.5 lb/gal for Group 1 vehicles for basecoat/clearcoat systems and can be used with all solvent and waterborne basecoats. It is suitable for all automotive refinishing as well as trucks and equipment. Euro Kwik Clearcoat Urethane Clearcoat can be buffed in 2 hours at 75°F (24°C). Its fast dry time enables customers to cycle more cars through their shops. With Euro Kwik Clearcoat a shop can clearcoat, buff/polish and deliver the vehicle in the same day! The reduced bake time requirements enable over twice as many vehicles to be processed through the paint booths. These advantages translate into less energy usage, and more profit per job.

 Transtar’s MAX Clearcoat is a super fast drying clearcoat that provides the additional features of low overspray and super high gloss. This unique product improves production by maximizing vehicle throughput. The fast flash feature provides the benefit of less dust and dirt getting trapped in the finish, which means less labor expanded to buff or polish.
